Whole House Scale Buster

Hard water causes scale to build up in pipes, washing machines and hot water systems. Showerheads become blocked and scale forms on baths, basins and taps. Once installed, the Scale Blaster will reduce existing scale and prevents further build up.

Heating scale wastes money and increases boiler running time. With no scale on its heating exchanger, a domestic hot water cylinder takes 1½ hours to heat up. With just 5mm of scale the boiler has to run for over 4 hours wasting 2½ hours of fuel.            

Scale Blaster will reduce existing scale from your hot water system, returning it to its efficiency, thus saving fuel costs.

Scale Buster is available either with two or three filters.

The two filter version.

Both versions usually only require the filters changing yearly. These filters can be changed by us. or we can supply the filters for you to replace yourself.

  The power gem is an economical solution to preventing and eroding limescale build up. The unit descales the entire water system and helps to reduce new scale forming. No chemicals are required and is suitable for both plastic and copper pipes.

The power gem is a powerful effective unit, utilising two of the principal methods of electronic water conditioning and scale removal: a combination of swept frequency alternating current and electromagnetic field.

The power gem contains the transformer and heat sink within its body, yet is still one of the most compact available. It is maintenance free other than a periodic check to ensure the mains power supply is operating.

Salamander Electrolytic
Scale inhibitor

The SESI is a non polluting electrolytic physical water conditioning process that protects a pipe system from the formation of limescale encrustation and rust deposits (in the case of steel pipes) without the use of chemicals, salt and the need for any electrical power supply.
The ESI works by a natural electrolytic process, with the help of a zinc electrode – without using any magnetic or chemical technical affect on the water – and begins its process immediately after the unit has been installed. Hard salts are encouraged to cling to each other rather than pipework, heating elements etc. The process is not sensitive to low water flow.

The SESI is fitted in the main water pipe between the water meter and the house inlet, and as there is no maintenance required can be buried in the ground.
